Job Title: Civil Engineer
Department: Energy Projects Services
Work Location: Al- Hartha Power Plant Rehabilitation Project / Basra
Duties & Responsibilities :
Supervise our civil activities according to the Russian construction and erection
documents.
Supervisor to assemble the foundations for the steam boiler and boiler auxiliary
systems.
Supervisor to apply the JIS, GOST, and ASTM standards.
Supervisor to apply the time schedule for civil works.
Checking the inventory for (steel structures, stairs, platforms, and anchor bolts)
with the warehouse keeper at the warehouse yard.
Understanding the inspection and repairing all previously executed civil work,
including the Chimney.
Checking, revising, and approving the available drawings.
Inspecting all the materials and work test.
Any civil and steel structures work is considered complementary to the operation
of the project.
Testing the protection of all the embedded parts with epoxy.
Reviews the client technical and subcontractors’ documentation and
requirements.
Maintains the project technical files
Prepares design specifications for reinforced concrete, buildings, earthworks,
roads, and underground networks, piling works, and soil improvement.
Develops calculation notes for reinforced concrete, piling works, and storm water
collection systems.
Develops drain water and sewage system layouts.
Develops studies for foundations and concrete structures.
Checking the S.O.W. (scope of work) and technical specification for civil
construction subcontracts.
Prepares technical documentation for civil material requisition and assists the
procurement department. in the technical evaluations.
Supervised and approved civil structures design, construction drawings of
buildings, plot plans, and foundation drawings
Academic Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering.

Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience.
Language Proficiency: Good communication skills in English; Arabic, both speaking and writing.
Software Skills: Microsoft Office
