We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced I&C Engineer to join our team in rehabilitating a gas turbine power plant under the supervision of a leading international company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing and upgrading the plant's instrumentation and control systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation in accordance with international standards and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of all instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, actuators, PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
- Analyze P&IDs, loop diagrams, and control logic to understand system functionality and identify areas for improvement.
- Perform system audits and functional tests to verify system performance and identify potential problems.
- Develop and implement upgrades to instrumentation and control systems, including hardware and software modifications, to improve reliability, efficiency, and safety.
- Select and procure instrumentation and control equipment, ensuring compatibility with international standards and best practices.
- Oversee the installation, calibration, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
- Develop and implement control logic and tuning strategies to optimize plant performance.
- Participate in the development of safety procedures and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers.
- Maintain accurate records of all instrumentation and control work performed.
- Provide technical support to plant operations and maintenance personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering with a specialization in control systems, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of control system theory, including PID control, feedforward/feedback control, and advanced control algorithms.
