Maintenance Electrical Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities

1.       Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of transformers, generators, switchgear, and other electrical equipment to avoid breakdowns.

2.       Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, such as power distribution networks, motors, and control systems.

3.       System Monitoring: Continuously monitor power plant electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

4.       Emergency Handling: Respond to and resolve electrical system failures quickly to minimize downtime and maintain power generation.

5.       Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance for regulatory and operational needs.

6.       Training and Team Leadership: Train technicians and oversee their work to maintain high standards of safety and operational efficiency.

7.       Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and ensure electrical work adheres to regulatory standards.

8.       Spare Parts Management: Monitor and maintain an inventory of electrical spare parts and tools required for maintenance tasks.
