Project Controller

Work Location : Baghdad 


Duties & Responsibilities: 


1. Communicate project timelines to relevant stakeholders and manage expectations.

2. Implement and advise strategies to accelerate project timelines when necessary.

3. Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies.

4. Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

5. Developing comprehensive project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring that deadlines and deliverables are met.

6. Monitor changes in project scope and requirements, and adjust project plans accordingly.

7. Proactively identify and address potential issues to prevent project delays.

9. Identify and analyze cost variances and discrepancies.

10. Prepare and distribute regular project reports, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.

11. Prepare and review the progress report (schedule, costs, quantity) prepared by contractors.

12. Implement processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established quality standards.

13. Review Progress Certificates from the Contractor.

14. Identify opportunities for process improvement within project control functions.


Qualifications Required:

  • BSc. in Engineering 
  • 5 years of experience in planning and cost control, preferably in a power plant sector.
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools and software
