Duties
& Responsibilities:
• Interpret and apply technical documentation for generators and transformers, including construction, testing, protection, commissioning, and operation.
• Supervise dismantling, assembly, maintenance, and testing of generators, Transformers, Switch Gear of 6.6kV and 0.4kV, and Power Cables, etc.
• Manage installation of new panels, including generator protection, AVR, measuring, and seal oil operation panels.
• Implement and monitor electrical time schedules and safety plans submitted by subcontractors.
•
Inspect electrical components and materials at
the turbine and boiler sides, as well as the warehouse.
• Prepare technical specifications for the electrical equipment.
· Ensure compliance with electrical safety plans and quality control procedures submitted by subcontractors.
· Monitor and enforce adherence to the electrical project timeline and milestones.
· Conduct inventory checks and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure material availability and accuracy.
· Support commissioning activities and troubleshoot electrical faults during startup and operation phases.
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
· Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.
Provide
technical advice and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements:
Academic Qualification:
Bachelor's
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Field/Industry of Experience: Industrial Projects
Role of Experience/Expertise:
Electrical
Engineering
Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering,
preferably in power generation
Language Proficiency:
Good communication: Fluent in English and Arabic, preferred (spoken, written, and technical
documentation)
Software Skills: Microsoft Office
