Purpose of the Position:
Ensure
the reliable and efficient operation of the GIS equipment of the power plant.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control the performance of the GIS equipment to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with gas insulation systems, and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment performance, maintenance activities, and any incidents or issues that arise for 400,132,11Kv &DC, UPS system etc.
- Operate the GIS equipment according to the manufacturer's guidelines and plant procedures.
- Coordinate with NDC&RCC to ensure proper coordination and collaboration in the operation of the electrical power plant.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on the GIS equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Respond to alarms and abnormalities in the GIS equipment and take appropriate action to address them.
- Follow the safety protocols and
procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
