Job Title: Logistics Manager - Transportation and
Clearance

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead our transportation and clearance operations. The successful candidate
will be responsible for managing and coordinating the customs exemptions, movement
of goods, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and optimizing
logistics processes to achieve efficient and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Transportation Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute transportation operations, including road, air, and sea freight.
- Manage relationships with transportation providers, negotiate rates, and optimize routes.
- Track shipments, resolve issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
2. Customs Clearance:
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, laws, and procedures.
- Prepare and process customs clearance documents, including commercial invoices and certificates of origin.
- Liaise with customs authorities, agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate clearance.
3. Logistics Operations:
- Implement and maintain efficient logistics processes and procedures.
4. Supply Chain Optimization:
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize processes.
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and optimize supply chain operations.
5. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify and
mitigate risks associated with logistics operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in logistics management, transportation, and customs clearance.
- Proven track record of managing transportation and clearance operations.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms, and logistics procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to
changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certificate in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
- Experience with logistics software and systems (e.g., TMS, WMS).
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and compliance.
